It's time to go North of the Border as we take you on a city break to the Scottish capital of Edinburgh.
It's not only a capital city, Edinburgh is also a world heritage site. With many world-class visitor attractions, sightseeing in Edinburgh is a must . Tour buses, museums, shopping and even ghost tours make it easy for you take in what this fantastic city has to offer
At the foot of the famous Royal Mile is the 17th century Palace of Holyroodhouse, the modern parliament building and the prehistoric extinct volcano famously known as Arthur's Seat standing p next to each other. With an huge range of events, fantastic shopping, top-class dining, a fabulous bar and café culture, vibrant nightlife, arts and performances, relaxing spas and beautiful green spaces too.
Our base for your city break is the 4 star Novotel Edinburgh Park. With three nights accommodation, full Scottish breakfast, free Wifi , indoor heated pool and a tram stop right outside to take you in and out of the centre as you please, you can make this break as busy or as relaxing as you want!
Day One
Departing South Wales early in the morning (all pick ups will take place between 6am and 9am) we head northwards, stopping on our way for motorway services comfort breaks, before checking in late in the afternoon at the Novotel Edinburgh Park for our three night stay with breakfast included.
Days Two & Three
Free in Edinburgh; as mentioned above, the tram is near the hotel but your coach will offer a drop off and return from the city centre on both days.
Day Four
Time to say goodbye to Edinburgh and Scotland as we had back to South Wales, arriving home late evening.
